Warm ivory, honey & soft caramel veining; this sculptural onyx catchall tray is carved from luminous natural stone, revealing layered marbling in creamy whites, pale green undertones, golden amber, and desert-toned mineral movement. The surface feels calm yet dimensional—quietly expressive rather than bold.
Its stepped-edge form draws from ancient architectural lines, softened by a wabi-sabi sensibility and the organic irregularity of hand-carved stone. When held against light, the onyx reveals a gentle translucence, allowing the natural veining to glow and shift—an understated reminder of its raw, earthen origin.

Each tray is carved from a single block of natural onyx by artisans in Balochistan, Pakistan, and designed & finished in our San Diego studio. Because this is natural stone, no two trays are ever alike. Variations in veining, translucency, and pattern are inherent—meaning the piece you receive will be similar in tone and shape, but slightly different from the photos and uniquely yours alone.

Each piece is sealed with food-grade beeswax. Refresh every 6 to 12 months by warming a small amount of oil or wax into the surface, then buffing gently with a soft cloth.

While our jewelry is water-resistant, prolonged water exposure is not recommended. To preserve its finish, avoid wearing in pools, hot tubs, saltwater, or during heavy sweating. Store dry when not in use.

Onyx forms in slow, mineral-rich pockets underground — layers laid down over thousands of years. Each slab is split once, then carved by hand, which is why no two pieces share the same ribboning.
We keep the walls thin so light passes through when the piece sits on a window ledge.
