A pair of small, soulful drops — deep garnet glass beads, hand-pressed and carried home as keepsakes of pilgrimage, paired with a single freshwater pearl and finished on a slim gold huggie hoop.

The red glass catches light like a held breath. Inside each disc, calligraphy is impressed into the surface — a quiet inscription of blessing, the kind once tucked into pockets, sewn into hems, or strung close to the heart. We sourced these beads from a small family supplier who has worked with returning pilgrims for generations, and gave each one a second life: lifted onto gold, softened by a pearl, made to be worn.

These earrings are for anyone who loves a piece with a past — collectors of meaningful objects, travelers, those drawn to the conversation between sacred craft and everyday adornment. Worn as a pair or mismatched with a favorite stud on the other ear.

Each pair is assembled by hand in our San Diego studio. Because the beads are individually pressed and the pearls naturally formed, small variations are part of the piece — never a flaw, always a fingerprint.

— the origin

carved from a single stone.

Onyx forms in slow, mineral-rich pockets underground — layers laid down over thousands of years. Each slab is split once, then carved by hand, which is why no two pieces share the same ribboning.

We keep the walls thin so light passes through when the piece sits on a window ledge.
