one of one
Every piece is hand-carved from raw stone. Veining, color, translucency — no two are identical. The piece you receive is the only one of its kind.

Amber, rust, and ivory—this hand-carved onyx pedestal bowl carries the warmth of sunbaked stone and slow-formed mineral layers. Soft bands of cream and honey wrap around the shallow basin, while the solid pedestal base grounds the piece with sculptural presence. Subtle translucency allows light to move through the stone, revealing swirling veins that feel organic and entirely one of a kind.
Carved from a single block of natural onyx, this pedestal bowl balances form and function. Use it as a fruit bowl, vanity tray, or sculptural centerpiece on a dining table, coffee table, console, or shelf. Whether styled with citrus, jewelry, perfume, or left empty to let the stone speak for itself, this piece brings warmth, texture, and intention into your space.
Handmade by artisans in Balochistan, Pakistan and designed and finished in California, this bowl reflects SAÉA’s commitment to ancestral craft, natural materials, and objects made to last. No two are ever the same—each piece is shaped by the land it came from.

SAÉA Stones
Onyx is a natural stone, stunning but not bulletproof. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh detergents. Read more here.
Each piece is sealed with food-grade beeswax. Refresh every 6 to 12 months by warming a small amount of oil or wax into the surface, then buffing gently with a soft cloth.
SAÉA Jewels
Made with natural gemstones and gold-plated or gold-filled chains, SAÉA jewels are designed for everyday wear.
While our jewelry is water-resistant, prolonged water exposure is not recommended. To preserve its finish, avoid wearing in pools, hot tubs, saltwater, or during heavy sweating. Store dry when not in use.

SAÉA is a small design studio in San Diego, California.
Each piece begins as raw onyx in the mountains of Balochistan, hand-carved by artisans, then finished, photographed, and shipped from San DIego, California.
Every SAÉA Jewel is made to order in our San Diego studio.
Onyx forms in slow, mineral-rich pockets underground — layers laid down over thousands of years. Each slab is split once, then carved by hand, which is why no two pieces share the same ribboning.
We keep the walls thin so light passes through when the piece sits on a window ledge.

No two pieces alike. No factory finish. Just raw onyx, hand-carved by artisans in Balochistan and finished in our San Diego studio.
